My Story….

I grew up in a small town…..I mean really small! My graduating class had 25 students in it. However, I loved it! I knew everyone and everyone knew me. I was an athlete and in my spare time, I rode my horse wherever I could go. Now, I am a recently retired teacher. Actually, I retired from New Mexico 6 years ago but then decided to work in Texas, where I am retiring this year. I have spent the last 31 years in a classroom with high school students teaching mostly computer applications.

I never knew it growing up but I actually have an artistic side. I’ve explored some of that throughout my adult life with photography and graphic arts. I guess you could say my love for growing flowers is also a creative outlet. However, I have recently discovered a love for refinishing furniture and I plan on letting that newfound artistry lead me wherever it wants.

My obsession has always been my 2 beautiful daughters and you will probably hear me talk about them often. My family has grown to include my adorable 2-year old grandson and my 2 stepsons. My family is very important to me and as we travel this new journey, I hope you get to know them along with me.
